Absence of Palestine in the International Criminal Court : Why is Palestine « de-prioritized » and what is to be done ?

The attached important document retraces the proceedings of a seminar held on June 26 by the Association of Jurists for Palestine, on the subject of the breakdown (understatement) of the ICC’s investigation into war crimes in Palestine. The prosecutor who succeeded Mrs. Bensouda has visibly slowed down, to the point that we are talking about the de-prioritization of Palestine, particularly in relation to Ukraine. He also showed a frankly hostile and racist attitude to Palestinian representatives (PCHR among others) who came to meet him.

The speakers and participants discussed the strategies to be implemented to push the ICC to carry out the investigation and/or to find alternative bodies capable of advancing the question of Palestine (such as the ICJ).
