The French singer Julien Clerc has been invited to perform in apartheid Israel in July (Tel Aviv, 7th July 2013). We are asking him to consider the oppressed Palestinians and respect their call for artists to boycott Israel and cancel his concert.
Julien Clerc is dedicated to the cause of refugees and in 2003 he was officially appointed as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR). We ask him to consider the plight of the longest suffering and largest refugee population in the world – the Palestinians. Stand with the 5 million Palestinian refugees and oppose Israels racist project of ethnic cleansing.
We will be picketing his performance in London on 8th May, and speaking to his fans whom we are sure will want him to stand on the side of justice and against apartheid.
Please join us on
